Ambient Weather WS-2000 Smart Weather Station

The Ambient Weather WS-2000 is a comprehensive local and remote monitoring package with a high-definition, full color TFT LCD display that is easy to read, day or night. The console receives wireless wind speed, direction, rainfall, temperature, humidity, UV and Solar Radiation from the outdoor sensor array, and can also receive barometric pressure, humidity and temperature from the optional indoor sensor (sold separately).

The brilliant, dynamic color tablet combines measured parameters with calculated data, such as 'Feels Like' Temperature (Wind Chill and Heat Index), Dew Point, 10 Minute Wind Speed and Direction, Sunrise, Sunset, Moon Phase, Forecast, and more. The multi-screen display also includes NIST internet time server synchronization, imperial and metric units of measure, high and low alarm conditions with audible alert, calibration of all major parameters, and real-time internet weather publishing.

The Ambient Weather Network (AWN) allows you to forge connections within the weather enthusiast community by seamlessly linking your Ambient Weather station. This interactive platform empowers you to customize your dashboard according to your preferences and freely share your weather insights in the AWN community without additional cost. The Ambient Weather Network brings together like-minded individuals passionate about weather observation and analysis.

The responsive design of the Ambient Weather app allows you to add your personal weather station to the map and create your own hyperlocal forecast for the community. You can customize your personal weather dashboard, organize your tiles with the measurements you prioritize, and label your sensors. The app also provides an interactive map of weather stations, weather cameras, and map layers that offer a detailed and hyper-local view of current conditions.

The Ambient Weather skill for Alexa and Google Assistant provides Ambient Weather personal weather station owners with the ability to get real-time, and past weather information generated by the devices they have been linked to. The AmbientWeather server also features a handy timeline for tracking IFTTT triggered web services, applets, and devices like blinds, rain gauges, and lights.

Developers can retrieve their own real-time and historical personal weather station JSON formatted data, or build 3rd party apps and get data from multiple devices. The WS-2000 also supports connecting to the world's largest personal weather station network, Weather Underground, in addition to WeatherCloud and WeatherBug.

The wireless sensor array connects to the console via RF (915 MHz) up to 330 feet line of sight in open air (100 feet under most conditions), and mounts to any pole between 1.25 and 2" diameter with an adaptive mounting bracket and U-Bolt design. The WiFi settings are entered directly into the display tablet using the interactive buttons, and encrypted WiFi transmission is supported.

The WS-2000 displays minimum and maximum conditions with time and date stamp, historical archived data, which can be exported to SD Card (optional, not included) for advanced data analysis in Excel. The SD Card is also used for firmware updates.

The WS-2000 supports a variety of optional sensors (sold separately), including thermometers, moisture/leak detectors, soil moisture sensors, leaf wetness sensors, and particle sensors. The sensor array's primary power source is a solar panel which charges the super capacitor, with optional battery backup (batteries not included).
